MEET GEORGIA ARMOND
IN 2023, GEORGIA GRADUATED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WORCESTER WITH A FIRST-CLASS HONOURS DEGREE IN SPORTS THERAPY (BSC HONS). SHE CURRENTLY WORKS AS LEAD THERAPIST AT MALVERN RFC, WHERE SHE MANAGES MULTIPLE TEAMS INVOLVING MANY INJURY ASSESSMENTS, DIAGNOSES, REHABILITATION, AND A VARIETY OF TREATMENTS TO ENSURE PLAYERS RETURN BACK TO THE FIELD. AS RUGBY IS SO PHYSICAL, GEORGIA HAS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH ALL TYPES OF INJURIES ANYWHERE ON THE BODY! THIS AUGMENTS HER CLINICAL WORK AT AG SPORTS THERAPY, MASSAGE & REHAB.
GEORGIA HAS ATTENDED VARIOUS COURSES SINCE GRADUATING, INCLUDING DRY NEEDLING AND CUPPING. SHE HAS GAINED FURTHER EXPERIENCE FROM WORKING AT RUGBY CAMPS, TRIATHLONS, MARATHONS, AND HAS PROVIDED SOFT TISSUE THERAPY FOR THE AUSTRALIAN U19S CRICKET TEAM.
GEORGIA BELIEVES THAT EVERYONE SHOULD INVEST IN THEMSELVES, GIVING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO WHAT THEY WANT, WITHOUT THEIR BODY HOLDING THEM BACK. SHE BELIEVES THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED BY LISTENING AND UNDERSTANDING EACH PROBLEM THAT PRESENTS ITSELF, WHETHER IT IS ACHES AND PAINS OR A MAJOR INJURY - SHE IS PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE WITH ANY ISSUE THEY MIGHT HAVE.
SHE IS A REGISTERED MEMBER OF THE SOCIETY OF SPORTS THERAPISTS (SST) AND HAS ADDITIONAL INSURANCE COVER WITH BALENS LTD.
